MTC History

Dedicated To Change

MTC has been thriving since its founding in August 2002. What began with just two students—who remain part of our community today—has grown into a vibrant arts program consistently serving more than 70 students. Over time, MTC has expanded to include adult classes & special needs programming, strengthening our diverse community. Our philosophy is rooted in nurturing each student’s unique talents while intentionally encouraging character through the arts.

We are deeply committed to accessibility and community support. For every nine paying students enrolled, MTC sponsors one “tithe” student who attends at no cost. This model helps ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent talented individuals from accessing high-quality arts education.

MTC is dedicated to guiding young artists as they develop creatively and personally, preparing them for future opportunities both within and beyond the arts. Our goal is to leave a lasting legacy—one defined by growth, confidence, and meaningful impact. By the time their journey with us concludes, students leave empowered, equipped, and prepared to become

More Than Conquerors.

Our Three Tiers

Character Building

Supporting artists in developing healthy self-esteem and a strong sense of identity is essential to their long-term success. This pillar helps artists recognize their individual gifts, understand their value, and gain confidence in the meaningful contributions they can make to society through their talents. Artists strengthen their self-image while learning the vital role creativity plays in shaping future leaders.

Entrepreneurship

Empowering artists to generate income through their work provides both confidence and security in their chosen paths. This pillar focuses on building independence and stability by developing professional skills within one’s craft. Artists are introduced to foundational business concepts, including resource management, saving, and responsible investment, preparing them to sustain themselves creatively and economically.

Community Service

Service-centered learning teaches artists the importance of connection, responsibility, and contribution. This pillar encourages artists to use their talents in service to others, fostering strong community bonds without the expectation of compensation. Through this experience, young artists begin to understand the value of service and the importance of leaving a positive legacy.
